Medium Publishing Planner - Feed Checker

Enter your Medium Username (with or without @). I’ll pull your RSS feed, show the last ten stories, and tell you when Medium will next let you publish based on your limit.

Instructions

The Medium Publishing Planner - Feed Checker:

To use this tool:

  1. Enter your Medium Username (with or without the @ at the beginning) in the Medium Username box. (Note that it will remember what you entered previously via a cookie.)
  2. Select how many stories you may publish per period. It will default to the current limit of 2, as defined by Medium, but you can change this if you want. (It will also remember what you entered previously via a cookie.)
  3. Select the rolling period to which the story limit applies. It will default to the current limit of 24 hours, as defined by Medium, but you can change this if you want. (It will also remember what you entered previously via a cookie.)
  4. Select your preferred time format - 12-hour (which is the default) or 24-hour. (It will also remember what you selected previously via a cookie.)
  5. Click the Check Feed button.

After a short while, and assuming the information you entered is valid, it will display:

Note: Medium’s RSS feed does not always include “featured stories”. These posts appear on your profile but do not appear in your RSS feed, so they cannot be counted by the tool. If your recent story count seems lower than expected, this is usually the reason.

Updates: From time to time this tool may be updated if Medium changes how their feeds work or adjust publishing limits, if bugs are fixed, or if new features are added. If a new version is available, you should see an information box at the top of the page, with instructions. Otherwise, you can always log into your Gumroad account and check there.

Support: If you have questions, please contact me and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
